The holidays bring us together, but haste, crowds, and lack of attention can create unpleasant situations. To help every family enjoy this period in peace, the #National_Police recommends a few simple yet important safety rules:
In public spaces:
- Keep children close.
- Watch your personal belongings.
- If you notice someone acting suspiciously nearby, move away and seek assistance.
For your home:
- Lock doors and close windows, even during short absences.
- Avoid posting about leaving home on social media.
- Ask a trusted neighbor to check on your home while you’re away.
- Do not open the door to strangers, regardless of their pretext.
On the road:
- Drive carefully — a single cautious action can save a life.
- Reduce speed in crowded areas and at pedestrian crossings.
- If you have consumed alcohol, do not drive.
In any risky situation or if you observe suspicious behavior, call 112.
The National Police remains on duty to keep everyone safe.
Everyone’s vigilance means peaceful holidays for all.
