A new political party has been established in the Republic of Moldova — “Pentru Țară – За Родину” (“For the Country – For the Homeland”). The founding congress took place yesterday, and Valentin Cimpoeș, former mayor of Basarabeasca, was elected as the party’s president, TRIBUNA reports.
In his address, Cimpoeș stated that the opposition’s defeat in the 2025 parliamentary elections was not just a statistic but a warning signal, highlighting the need for a new, honest, and truly national force. He emphasized that the party “Pentru Țară – За Родину” was born not in offices or under the dictates of sponsors, but out of people’s fatigue with a government serving foreign interests.
The party’s core principles are:
- Moldova above all.
- Honest governance that does not hide from citizens.
- Transparent decisions, with every leu under public oversight.
- An economy that is developed, not divided among a few.
- Respect for workers, families, and the country.
“This is not a party against someone. It is a party for Moldova, for its people, for the right to live with dignity and confidence in their own country,” Valentin Cimpoeș underlined.
