The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration summoned today the accredited Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Chișinău, in connection with the incident that occurred on the night of November 19, when the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was illegally crossed by a drone, reports TRIBUNA.

The ambassador was handed a firm protest from the Moldovan side regarding this serious violation of national sovereignty and the risks posed to the safety of citizens.

The MFA reiterates its call to the Russian Federation to refrain from any actions that could endanger the security of the Republic of Moldova and to strictly respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
