On November 14, in Strasbourg, the Republic of Moldova will take over the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, TRIBUNA reports.
“For our country, it is both an honor and a great responsibility.
Moldova’s mandate will include a broad calendar of events, both in Chișinău and in Strasbourg. We will focus on protecting children in the online environment, combating disinformation and foreign interference, fighting violence against women, and promoting social rights,” stated Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi.
The conclusion of the Presidency will be marked by the Ministerial Session in Chișinău on May 15, 2026, which will be attended by foreign ministers from the 46 member states of the Council of Europe.
