President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Moldova on November 6–7, TRIBUNA reports.

During her visit, Metsola will attend a solemn session of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, where she will deliver a speech marking the inauguration of the 12th legislative term. She is also scheduled to meet with the President of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu.

Her agenda includes a meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, followed by a joint press conference. Metsola will also hold talks with Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.

Additionally, the President of the European Parliament will participate in a public event dedicated to youth, hosted at the “Spiru Haret” Theoretical High School in Chișinău.

Roberta Metsola previously addressed the Moldovan Parliament in November 2022, delivering a message of support for Moldova’s European integration path.
