Today marks 80 years since the founding of the United Nations—a symbol of peace, cooperation, and respect for human rights. On this occasion, the Mayor of Chișinău, Ion Ceban, shared a message noting that the Republic of Moldova has been part of the UN family since 1992, TRIBUNA reports.
“Over the years, the Municipality of Chișinău has developed an active collaboration with United Nations structures through projects and programs that support sustainable urban development, social inclusion, education, health, environmental protection, social assistance, and child protection.
UN Moldova is a trusted partner of the Chișinău City Hall. Together, we are building a more open, fair, and people-centered city—a Chișinău of universal values and human solidarity.
Happy anniversary, United Nations! May you continue to unite people and communities around the values of peace and cooperation,” said Ion Ceban.
