The Chișinău Court of Appeal has ruled today to restrict the activity of the political entity “Modern Democratic Party of Moldova” for a period of 12 months. Through this decision, the court fully upheld the action filed by the Ministry of Justice, reports TRIBUNA.

On September 22, 2025, the Ministry of Justice submitted a legal claim against the mentioned party, requesting the restriction of its activity for 12 months and the application of precautionary measures until a final decision is issued. The claim was based on notifications received from the Public Services Agency and the Intelligence and Security Service.

The decision of the Chișinău Court of Appeal may be challenged before the Supreme Court of Justice.
