Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Moldovan President Maia Sandu and congratulated her on “a very important victory,” TRIBUNA reports.

“These elections showed that Russia’s destabilizing efforts are failing, while Moldova in Europe is winning. Russian subversion, constant disinformation—none of it worked. It’s important that Moldova managed to defend itself effectively against threats, together with all those who helped.”

Zelenskyy reaffirmed Ukraine’s support: “We will continue working together. Together we overcome challenges and build a future where our peoples have strong prospects—in security, in the economy, and therefore in social life.”
