Prime Minister Dorin Recean had a farewell meeting with the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks. The official is ending his mandate after four years of activity in our country, TRIBUNA informs.
The Head of the Executive thanked the ambassador for his constant support and appreciated the contribution of the EU member states to the implementation of the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova. The Prime Minister mentioned the main developments in key areas and emphasized that the Government in Chisinau will continue to prioritize the actions necessary to accelerate the process of accession to the European Union.
“The European Union has been with us at all important stages – both in times of crisis, when we needed support, and in our integration efforts. We are firmly and irreversibly moving along the European path, and the Growth Plan for Moldova, offered by the EU, will help us build European living conditions here, at home,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
The officials spoke about the projects implemented with the support of the European Union and the progress made by our country in areas such as energy, agriculture, ensuring cybersecurity, and reforming the judiciary.
