The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, held a working meeting with members of the European Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, led by the Chairwoman of the European Affairs Committee, Ms. Jelena Miloš.

During the discussions, the current dynamics of the Transnistrian file, its challenges and prospects were addressed, as well as the efforts undertaken by Chișinău to maintain peace and stability at the local level. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting effective and attractive reintegration policies for the both banks of the Nistru River.

An exchange of views also took place regarding the regional security climate and current trends, marked by the consequences of the war in Ukraine and its impact on the security and resilience of the Republic of Moldova.

The importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation was underlined, especially through the exchange of experiences between Croatia and the Republic of Moldova in promoting policies of territorial reintegration by peaceful means and through the strengthening of the functionality of the institutions of both states.
