The proportion of male leaders at all levels is higher than that of women in leadership positions. Women continue to be underrepresented in decision-making positions – shows an analysis by the National Bureau of Statistics, informs TRIBUNA.
In 2023, of the total number of leaders at all levels, 56.4% were men and 43.6% – women.
The participation of women in decision-making in Parliament reveals a representation of women in the proportion of 40.0%, at the end of 2024 (out of 100 deputies, 40 were women), compared to 31.8% at the European level and 27.2% at the global level9.
The share of women in the total number of employees of police bodies, including civil protection and border guards, at the beginning of 2024 was 26.1%. At the same time, the share of women in the total number of judges at the beginning of 2025 was 52.0%.
