Start voting: the first polling station was opened in Tokyo in Japan with the singing of the national anthem! Members of the polling station dressed in traditional clothes welcome the first voters as if at a celebration. And the first Moldovan to vote in these elections is Ludmila Vizdoaga, settled in the diaspora for 19 years, who traveled 1300 km from the Republic of Korea to Japan, to exercise her duty as a citizen.

“In recent years, I am extremely happy to see so many beautiful changes in our country. That is why, today, I decided to come from South Korea, here in Japan, in Tokyo, to express my desire and hope that our country will continue this beautiful path towards development, progress, a better life and more beautiful.

I hope that today each of us, those who have Moldova in our hearts, will gather and say what we want for our future, to see this country grow and flourish more. I urge you today to go to the polling stations and express your wishes and hopes for the beautiful future of our country.

I invite you all to come out and decide together the future of our country, to be in line with the world!”, said Ludmila Vizdoagă, our compatriot who is the first citizen of our country to vote in the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum.
