So far, 4 political parties have been registered as participants in the republican constitutional referendum on the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union on October 20, informs TRIBUNA.

Thus, the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova was registered, as having participated in the referendum – by the decision of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of August 23, with the “NO” option.

The Green Ecologist Party was registered by the CEC on August 29, with the “YES” option.

The Respect Moldova Movement party was registered by the CEC on August 31, with the “YES” option.

The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe party was registered, on September 2, with the “YES” option.

It should be noted that, yesterday, September 3, the “Renaissance” Party submitted an application for registration as a participant in the referendum, with the “NO” option.

We remind you that the period for submitting documents for registration as a participant in the constitutional republican referendum of October 20, 2024 is from August 21 to September 20, 2024, inclusive.
