From September 2024, the decisions of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) will have a similar structure to the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, informs TRIBUNA.
This reform will make it easier to understand the acts of the SCJ and will contribute to the unification of judicial practice. The new structure is already being used in criminal matters. Also, the main legal aspects analyzed in its content will be mentioned on the first page of the act.
The standardization of the structure of court documents and the integration of the model-type of court documents in the Integrated Program for Case Management are actions deriving from the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy regarding ensuring the independence and integrity of the justice sector for the years 2022 – 2025. The institutions responsible for carrying out these actions are The Superior Council of Magistracy, the Supreme Court of Justice and the Ministry of Justice.
