The Vetting Commission will conduct new public hearings during the week of January 15 – 19, 2024, as part of the evaluation of judges of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) and candidates for the position of SCJ judge. Eight candidates and one acting SCJ judge will be interviewed in accordance with the provisions of Law 65/2023 on the external evaluation of judges and candidates for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, as well as the Rules of organization and functioning of the Commission.
