Moldovan head of state signs in Book of Condolences opened as a token of homage for Queen Elizabeth II

President Maia Sandu laid a bunch of flowers at the headquarters of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from Chisinau, as a token of homage for Queen Elizabeth II. Subsequently, the head of state signed in the Book of Condolences opened in the memory of Her Majesty.  

„I share the sorrow of the British citizens – and of the entire world – at the departure of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – an example of devotion for the duty and commitment in the name of equality, freedom, justice, democracy and inclusion. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family, the British citizens and those from the Commonwealth of Nations,’’ President Maia Sandu wrote in the Book of Condolences.
