The chairman of the “SHOR” Party, Ilan Shor, comes with a message to the right-wing electorate, urging them to take a good look at what the pro-European parties and the so-called right-wing politicians have done in the last ten years. According to Ilan Shor, during all this time, the life of Moldovans has become more and more difficult and nobody is helping them. Moreover, says Ilan Shor, politicians who came to power under pro-European slogans are luxuriating in European countries with capital obtained in Moldova.
„For the last ten years, you have preferred to support the so-called pro-European parties. You voted starting with Filat and ending with his daughter in the political line – Maia Sandu, in the hope that they will integrate Moldova into the EU and your life will become truly European. Consider an analysis and see what has happened in the last 10 years. Life has become harder. From the promised Europe, all that is left are empty slogans and promises that Moldova will be integrated into the EU. The last period has become even more difficult, thanks to your vote and the actions of Maia Sandu, who spat at the Eastern neighbours. We now have the highest energy prices in Moldova’s history, which have led to wild inflation and will make life in our country impossible in winter. However, the current government continues to shout that it wants in Europe. But where is Europe now when its citizens are in dire need of help? The government is trying hard to show us that we are friends of Europe. Why now when energy prices are sky-high do we see no support from the EU? We see no compensation for maintenance bills, we see no solutions. It’s true, they don’t owe us anything, we alone want to be there, we shout that we want to be in Europe, and for that, we receive painful blows over our heads”, Ilan Shor said in a video on his Facebook page.
Ilan Shor also talked about the so-called right-wing politicians who promised a lot but forgot their promises as soon as they came to power.
„I understand that the so-called right-wing politicians are more refined for you than me, for example. I’m a businessman. Right-wing politicians seem to you more honest, more beautiful, fair, who have nice slogans, but in reality they are nobodies. In specific terms, what have they done for you, for the citizens of Moldova, in the last ten years? Nothing! I, on the other hand, have a lot to be proud of. I have succeeded in transforming and modernising the airport. The Chisinau Airport terminal is one of the best in the region. As mayor of Orhei, I have managed to make this city the best in the country. I built the OrheiLand park where everything is free for everyone. I built roads. I brought light to the streets of over 100 towns. I have done my best to make the lives of Moldova’s beloved citizens better. As for the fact that at the age of 24 I stole the billion, I think many of you have understood that these are stories”, Ilan Shor stressed.
According to the leader of the “SHOR” Party, Europe must be built at home and citizens must not believe in pro-European slogans, which are vain.
„Dear right-wing electorate, do you want in Europe? I do too! Only I want to build Europe with my own hands, here, at home, in the Republic of Moldova. For me, Europe means good roads, decent pensions and salaries, jobs, civilised living conditions. I repeat, no one will do anything for us, no one needs us, as long as we alone will not put our shoulder to the wheel and build everything we need at home. The right-wing parties will come to power with nice slogans, they will shout that they want Europe, and we will screw it up and end up with high prices and lack of alternative markets, and after they lose the elections, they will do as many former PLDM-ists did, they will take their suitcases and move to Europe, where they live in nice houses, in Vienna, Bucharest, etc. They are honest with you, they tell you they want Europe, then they come to power, build their political relationships in the EU, make their capital and then move to Europe. But you, dear citizens, remain living in Moldova, with crazy gas prices, electricity prices, no jobs. This is what the right-wing parties have brought us”, said Ilan Shor.
The leader of the “SHOR” Party also reiterated that Moldova must have good relations with all partners in order to become prosperous.
„I have never been and will never be categorically pro WEST or pro EAST. I have always said that the vector I advocate for is pro Moldova. Our country must follow its own interests, more precisely, those of its citizens. This is the only way to make Moldova a rich and developed country. We need good relations with both East and West. This is so that we can have normal prices for energy and other goods and services. We have dignity, culture and other positive things we can be proud of and share”, concluded Ilan Shor.
