The joint consultations of the leaders of the largest parliamentary factions, initiated by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, started their work a few minutes ago.
As TRIBUNA informs, the Party of Socialists is represented by the chairman of tech party, Zinaida Greceanii, the ideological secretary, Ion Ceban, and the executive secretary, Vlad Bătrincea.
The Democratic Party is represented by the president Vlad Plahotniuc, Vice-President Pavel Filip and Vice-President Andrian Candu.
It is worth mentioning that the representatives of the Bloc NOW, as they announced, did not come to the discussion.
At the beginning of the meeting, Igor Dodon said that this was the last meeting in this format.
“Thank you for your presence, I regret that the third force did not come, it is their decision, everyone is doing his agenda. They only have to explain to the citizens later. Today we invited you for a last discussion with the president, in this format, I do not think we will continue. My goal was to invite you to start the discussions and I’m glad that at least two parties came today. I think the presidential institution has its role and played it, we will still see. I want to find out the positions, see if you have common points, and then we will make decisions – a parliamentary majority is being created, we go to early elections. I think any decision is valid, but it has to be very clear”, Dodon said.
