The President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, in a post on a social network, announced a meeting with the councillors and heads of the apparatus of the President, during which he discussed the consultations to be held tomorrow, 2 April, with the leaders of the parliamentary parties, TRIBUNA informs.
“One of the most important issues in the agenda remains to organize, on April 2, the joint consultations of the leaders of the largest parliamentary formations (PSRM, PDM, bloc ACUM). The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 12.00 at the State Residence on N. Iorga Street, 23 “, Dodon wrote.
At the same time, he referred to the basic task of a President. “I would like to mention that if it is necessary, the President is willing to moderate the bilateral consultations of the party leaders. In this context, I believe that the chief task of the head of state is to create the conditions for organizing direct negotiations between the leaders of the largest parliamentary parties. I reiterate my willingness to approve the creation of a parliamentary majority consisting of parliamentary fractions, but without the use of blackmail, threats or “transfusions”. Or to accept the dissolution of Parliament and the holding of early elections, “added Dodon.
In this way, Igor Dodon communicates about the importance of making a decision. “I remind you that almost a month and a half have passed since the parliamentary election day. It is time to make responsible decisions for the country and citizens, either by creating a legitimate parliamentary majority or by organizing early parliamentary elections, “he concluded.
We recall that on 26 March recently the head of state had a discussion with the leaders of the main parliamentary parties, separate discussions , which found that “the first month after the elections on 24 February was marked by a severe political blockage, lack of negotiations and even a lack of dialogue between parties, and this blockage is largely due to mutual mistrust that has been rooted between political parties, especially between former opposition parties and the former government, “Dodon said.
