A group of young people today announced the launch of the social-political initiative – Movement of Liberation of Moldova, TRIBUNA informs.
Alexandru Bujorean, the representative of the initiative, provided more details on the purpose of the movement.
“We, political and civic activists, the representatives of the students and the younger generation, tired of the lack of character and action of some politicians – we announce the launch of the alternative social-political initiative – Movement of Liberation of Moldova. Our movement is meant to unite all the divided social blankets of the society of Moldova, regardless of spoken language, ethnic origin, religious and political affiliation. We believe it is time to unite for one goal – we take the state out of captivity and, after that, we handle the rest, “he said.
At the same time, Bujorean announced a pedestrian march, but also a protest in Chisinau. “At the same time, we are aware that a group of young people does not have too much resistance to a regime. In this way, we decided to resort to our legal right to disagree with the current political class by an unpractical method in our country – starting with tomorrow, we will embark on a protest pedestrian march, over 160 km. The march will start in Cahul, the final destination will be Chisinau, where we intend to take a protest action against a legal Parliament, “he added.
In this way, the representative of the initiative made an appeal: “We send a public invitation to support our action to the representatives of all political forces who declare themselves in opposition and, firstly, we invite them to join the movement – the members and elected deputies on the list if the electoral bloc NOW . Through this action, we will try to raise public awareness about the electoral fraud committed, to generate a state of national mobilization and to revive the protest movement. “
At the same time, the movement announced about 5 claims:
- Cancellation of the mixed voting system and return to the proportional system;
- The resignation of the Central Electoral Commission and the Constitutional Court;
- Waiver of any attempt to investiture a politically unrepresentative government;
- Ending the use of justice as a political baton;
- Immediate publication of the report Kroll 2 and annulment of the law that puts bank fraud on the shoulders of Moldovan citizens.
“Our future actions, including the protest march, are secured and financed from our own resources. From procuring tents in which we will sleep, and up to the backpacks that will be behind us throughout the established itinerary. We will start 8-10 people. We will communicate with the natives of localities, distribute informative materials and we will call them to join the initiative, “he concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Alexandru Bujorean is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova, who previously also was the vice-president of the party. At the same time, Bujorean participated in the elections of 24 February 2019, in a single constituency, but did not obtain the necessary number of votes for obtaining a mandate of the deputy.
