The socialist deputy, who walked in the footsteps of his mother and grandfather, makes personal revelations

In an interview for the TRIBUNA portal, the socialist deputy Vladimir Mizdrenco was asked: „And your mother was a deputy. How do you think he would have reacted when he found out you stepped on her footsteps? Has she urged you to involve in politics?”.

“You are right, my mother was a deputy, but I would mention that my grandfather was a leader for 55 years during the Soviet period. Of course, both would have enjoyed my success. Recently, at the constituent sitting of Parliament, my colleagues approached and told me that my mother would have enjoyed me because I had the courage to continue her work and to be here in Parliament. It is an honour for me and my family. If we are talking about the urge to involve me in politics – no. I explain to my friends and colleagues the phenomenon given by the analogy or example of a river that finds its own way in life”, said the deputy.
