The scenarios what are seen by Igor Dodon following the parliamentary elections

President Igor Dodon sees in the next Parliament “four legitimate scenarios and one illegitimate scenario” about the way in which the political future in the Republic of Moldova could look. About this, he declared in the program “Glavnii Vopros” at the NTV Moldova television station.

As TRIBUNA informs, Igor Dodon mentioned that, in total, he sees 5 scenarios.

“One – PDM will make a coalition with the bloc NOW, that is, a right-wing alliance. I understand they have some talks. If they come to a common denominator, they have 56 mandates, it’s a comfortable parliamentary majority. In this situation, let’s them to make a coalition, propose to the President and we will analyze. Two – the bloc NOW and PSRM or PSRM with the bloc NOW, theoretically, so as not to interpret any discussions. We analyze all the possible scenarios. In this situation, there are 61 mandates – it’s a coalition.

Three – PSRM and PDM – again, I quote theoretically, and four – early elections. There are four legitimate scenarios, which do not go on buying of deputies, the passing of deputies from one fraction to another, or in one of these scenarios, the PȘ should not be. I tell you honestly and openly, that between the PSRM and the PȘ, there will never be cooperation or coalition in this Parliament. If these three parties will propose to me, I, as President, will agree, because people voted for these parties, “Dodon said.

According to the head of the state, it is also the 5th scenario, but it is illegitimate. “When PDM and PȘ bought the deputies from other factions and were trying to propose me the post of Premier, I think it is illegitimate. In this situation, the President has enough arguments not to receive these proposals. This coalition would not be suitable for the voter’s vote. I’m not going to sign. If they try by different schemes to suspend the President, then the President will call the people in the street if the CC will recognize these results of the parliamentary elections, if these parties find common ground among them, but I doubt … But that is legitimate because that was the vote of the citizens. I do not think they will find, I honestly tell you. Either will be early elections, or they will go on the illegitimate variant, a variant that will lead to the destabilization of the situation. It’s my opinion, “Dodon explained.
