Another 11 families from Jora de Mijloc received childbirth allowances under the “Maternal Capital” program. Thus, since the launch of the project in 2018, around 50 families have benefited from such financial support.
As TRIBUNA informs, according to a press release, the amount of the allowances is 7,000 lei for the first child and 10,000 lei for the next newborns. For twins, the allowance is 14 thousand lei.
According to the Mayor of the village Marina Tauber, the initiative, launched for the first time in the Republic of Moldova and implemented in the Orhei city, as well as the Jora de Mijloc commune, is meant to stimulate the birth in the region, but also to support the young families.
“It is really very important to support, it is substantial support for them and we are glad that we can offer this opportunity and we can support them. On the other hand, I am happy to say that in the entire Orhei district, but also in the 18 and 19 constituencies, where the “Șor” Party has won, this project will be launched and will be launched as soon as possible ” said Tauber.
According to them, the “Maternal Capital” Program is part of a wider strategy developed by the local authorities in Orhei regarding the modernization of the locality and the improvement of the living conditions.
“The project was initiated in 2015 by the mayor of Orhei district Ilan Şor, and since 2018 it has been implemented in Jora de Mijloc, once the vice-president of the” Șor “Party, Marina Tauber, took over the post of mayor. In total, more than 2,000 families from Orhei and Jora de Mijloc have benefited from the program since the launch of the program. The young families also enjoy the “social houses” project, and for the children from Orhei the kindergartens are modernized, and a new catering system is implemented so that the dishes are prepared in restaurant conditions and meet the highest standards in this field.
