The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has announced several international organizations regarding the actions of the Russian Federation in the case of the two Moldovan pilots recently released from prison in Afghanistan and transported to Moscow, TRIBUNA informs.
According to a press release, the Russian authorities refused to give to Moldovan delegation access to the Moldovan pilots in Moscow, as well as the violation of the international norms in force, of the Vienna diplomatic and consular law, as well as the Moldovan-Russian consular agreement.
“The Moldovan authorities expressing concern about such behaviour on the international arena have requested the support of international organizations Office of the High Commissioner of for Human Rights, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Office of the Commissioner of EU for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality ,the Central Office of Amnesty International and other institutions to bring the situation of Moldovan pilots from Moscow in line with legality and compliance with international law “
