The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announces that the period for the registration of candidates for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, both in the national constituency and in the uninominal constituencies, ended yesterday, 31 January.
As TRIBUNA informs, according to a press release, the Commission notes that 321 electoral candidates were registered in the uninominal electoral constituencies, of which 57 candidates for the function of the deputy are independents and 264 represents a political party.
The majority of the candidates for the position of deputy, 13 in number, are attested in the uninominal constituency no.50 to the west of the Republic of Moldova and in the uninominal constituency no.51 USA and Canada. The fewest were registered, 3 in number, in the uninominal constituency no.4 Riscani sector.’’
At the same time, the CEC informs that 37 candidates were refused to be included in the electoral race in the uninominal constituencies.
