Th electoral Bloc NOW – DA and PAS Platform today launched a commitment in the health field, TRIBUNA informs.
The leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform, the candidate in the parliamentary elections for the bloc NOW on the constituency no. 33, Andrei Năstase, provided more details about the event.
“We want every citizen of the Republic of Moldova to know that the electoral bloc now has an essential commitment – to create all the conditions that will allow the stay and return of our doctors in the country. The quality of the medical act isn’t compromised, people’s health is not negotiated in any way. We are proposing a 25% reduction in people’s spending on medicines and the increased access to quality health services. Over the past 25 years, the access to quality medical services has remained limited”, Năstase said.
As a result, the electoral bloc NOW presented its commitments, which, according to them, “will be implemented in the next mandate”:
- The increase of allowance for compensation of medicines from the basic fund of mandatory health insurance.
- The transposition of the EU Directive 18 into national legislature, which includes the public service obligation for all distributors of medicines.
- The increasing of the number of importers and reducing the prices of medicines.
- The improvement of the access to medicines, especially in rural areas, by creating tax licensing and organizing the activities of the individual pharmacies.
- The increasing of the wages of all employees in the medical system.
- The creation of necessary conditions for doctors to work and stay in country.
- More money for health from the state – less money from the citizen’s pocket.
- The construction of new hospitals that will have a fair placement in the country.
- The reduction of the infant mortality and increasing the accessibility to reproducible health services.
- The development of oncological services – both in the phase of disease of malady and in the treatment phase.
- The promotion a healthy lifestyle in society.
- The increasing of the level of medical knowledge of the population.
