Moldovan President Igor Dodon conveyed his congratulations to the first President of the Republic of Moldova, Mircea Snegur, on the occasion of his birthday. 

“Mircea Snegur had a completely different presidency; he made vital decisions for the country. At that time, our state declared independence, the processes of strengthening our statehood began. I am convinced that the experience accumulated by Mircea Snegur throughout his life should be fully applied for the benefit of the country”, the Head of State said.

Igor Dodon wished Mircea Snegur good health, success and a long happy life with his family.
