Acting mayor Silvia Radu on April 11 will start to collect signatures in her support from the inhabitants of Chisinau so as to be able to register as a contender for the mayoralty of Chisinau municipality, but she hasn’t yet decided if she will run or not. In a posting on a social networking site, Silvia Radu wrote that if she decides to run, she will compete only as an independent candidate, no matter how hard it will be, IPN reports.

The acting mayor said that each day after the working program, between 6pm and 8pm, she will be at one of the tents put up for collecting signatures in her support and will wait for citizens to discuss the problems of Chisinau with them so as to see what they can do together for the city to be nicer, without politics and geopolitics.

Silvia Radu noted she intends to reach as many places as possible in each district of Chisinau City.
