On the occasion of the 168th birthday of the great poet Mihai Eminescu, the Head of State Igor Dodon laid flowers to his bust in the Classics Alley in the central park of the capital.

“The great poet was born in Moldova, in Botosani, in 1850. Creativity of Mihai Eminescu has not lost its relevance to this day. The works of the poet largely convey our essence, its significance is invaluable, and they must be transmitted from generation to generation,” Igor Dodon noted.
