The Kroll team will come to Chisinau in early next January and the strategy of recovery of the criminal assets related to the bank fraud will be approved. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made statements to this effect at a news briefing today.   

The speaker thanked the Kroll team for the acceptance to publish the report 2, noting that, in 2018, the authorities should switch to the next stage, which implies the recovery of money from abroad.

Candu stressed that Moldova had successfully passed the test of the meeting of the IMF Board of Directors. He said the Fund had appreciated the reforms, economic growth, improvement of the business environment stability and the present potential for switching from transition to the next stage of economic development.

The parliament speaker welcomed the mark given by the European Union for the reforms, including through the budgetary support provided, and thanked the MPs and government for the efforts undertaken and results achieved, which were appreciated by IMF and EU.
