MPs Iurie Chiorescu and Anghel Agache joined the Democratic Party (PDM) today. A Democrat lawmaker, Sergiu Sirbu, made the announcement at the plenary meeting today.  

The two MPs were elected to parliament on the lists of the Liberal Democratic Party and informed that they were quitting the formation several months ago.

Following the 2014 parliamentary polls, PDM got 19 MP mandates. Presently, the formation has 41 MPs.
