After voting to include the bill on the uninominal voting system in the agenda of the May 5 sitting of Parliament, the MPs also decided to include the bill on the mixed-member electoral system registered by the Party of Socialists in the agenda, IPN reports.
Speaker Andrian Candu submitted this proposal after the break during which the Socialist parliamentary group held a meeting and this involved Candu. The Socialists asked for a break after the bill on the uninominal voting system was included in the agenda.
The MPs will return to the sitting at 3pm. Meanwhile, the Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities will examine the two bills.
