Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu wants the future Head of State to consolidate society and the state institutions. After casting his vote, the official said he expects the President to take part in the implementation of the reform agenda set by the Government and Parliament, IPN reports.

Andrian Candu is sure that the Head of State can exert the pressure needed for the government to do what it planned to do for the benefit of the country and the people. It is the President who should ultimately balance the powers in the state.

The Speaker also said he wants a President who would be praised and who would remain in history owing to the done work, dedication and the results achieved in uniting society.
