Dodon refuses publicly any coalition with Plahotniuc and invites Maia Sandu to do similarly

The Party of Socialists’ candidate for President Igor Dodon presented to the press a commitment whereby the future President pledges publicly not to form a coalition with the parties controlled by Vlad Plahotniuc, without saying which these are. The leader of the PSRM signed the commitment in a news conference, IPN reports.

Igor Dodon announced that at 1pm he will go to the head office of the Party “Action and Solidarity” with the commitment signed by him and will offer candidate for President Maia Sandu to do the same.

“I sign publicly this commitment and invite Maia Sandu to sign it too. We already know that Plahotniuc supports her. We will see if she signs it,” stated Igor Dodon.
