The President of Moldova Igor Dodon will go to Moscow to take part in the May 9 parade there. The Head of State will be accompanied by a group of veterans, IPN reports.

The President confirmed his participation in the festivities in Moscow in a meeting with Russia’s Ambassador to Moldova Farit Muhametshin.

The participation by a president of Moldova in the May 9 events in Moscow will be the only one during the last ten years.

This year it is celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the victory over fascism in World War II.
