Chișinău Mayor General Ion Ceban presented his activity report today, marking three years since he secured his second term in office, TRIBUNA reports.

The mayor stated that “80% of the commitments made to residents three years ago have already been fulfilled or are in the process of being implemented.”

“We have also completed hundreds of other large and small projects that we had not promised, and we continue to implement more.

Regarding the financial situation and the transparent management of public funds:

– Over the past 30 years, Chișinău’s municipal budget has never been in a better position than it is today, allowing us to develop the city and carry out numerous projects.

Meanwhile, Chișinău City Hall has become a reliable and trusted partner over the years.

Chișinău has the largest portfolio of major projects completed or currently being implemented with the support of, and in partnership with, European institutions and banks.

– More than 5 billion lei have been attracted for projects through various financial instruments, while hundreds of millions more are currently under negotiation.

All these projects are significant, have been presented transparently, and can be seen by residents,” the mayor stated.
