A total of 67 polling station electoral bureaus have been established to organize and conduct elections for the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia and the position of Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia, scheduled for November 15, 2026, TRIBUNA reports.

The electoral bureaus will be responsible for ensuring the proper preparation and conduct of voting at polling stations on election day. Their main duties include receiving and safeguarding voter lists, reviewing voters’ requests regarding errors in the electoral registers, proposing the required number of ballot papers, organizing the voting process, counting votes, and drawing up official records of the voting results.

In the coming period, members of the electoral bureaus will participate in training sessions organized by the Center for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE). The training will focus on ensuring the consistent application of electoral procedures and the proper fulfillment of their responsibilities.

It is recalled that 67 polling stations have been established in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia for the regional elections scheduled for November 15, 2026.
