Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu met with a group of Moldovan businesspeople living and working in Italy during his visit to Rome, TRIBUNA reports.
The official noted that the Moldovan community in Italy is well-established and has successfully integrated into the local communities across the country.
“Our people are known for their discipline, hard work, and decency, and they are highly respected in the communities they belong to. Over the years, many of them have made significant contributions to Italy’s economic prosperity, not only through their work but also through the businesses they operate, which continue to grow year after year.
Here in Rome, I had the opportunity to meet with a group of Moldovan businesspeople from across Italy. They own hotels and restaurants, transport and logistics companies, financial consulting firms, construction businesses, companies specializing in technical installations for seagoing vessels, and businesses installing fibre-optic networks for major European telecommunications companies.
They operate in a wide range of sectors and have all succeeded in a highly competitive environment. They have achieved this through hard work and perseverance. We discussed their experiences and how we can make Moldova more attractive to investors,” Igor Grosu stated.
