European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius addressed participants at the Moldova Security Forum, held in Chișinău, via a video message, TRIBUNA reports.

“Moldova’s European future and Ukraine’s European future are the greatest guarantees of long-term security and peace in Europe. Thirteen drones crashed in Moldova in August alone, almost as many as throughout the entire previous year. And during Moldova’s latest elections, we witnessed the most blatant Russian interference, involving Russian money and Russian information warfare. Their goal is to undermine your sovereignty, independence, and European future.

But you stood firm and prevailed. Thanks to your strength, resilience, and concrete actions, all of Europe has much to learn from Moldova, and we thank Moldova for that. You can count on our support,” Andrius Kubilius said.
