Today, during the 10th meeting of the EU–Moldova Association Council, the European Commission decided to disburse €157 million from the Growth Plan for Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.
This third tranche follows a positive assessment by the European Commission, which found that Moldova had successfully implemented 18 reforms linked to the Plan.
With this latest payment, the total amount made available to the Republic of Moldova under the Plan has now reached €661 million.
The €1.9 billion Growth Plan aims to support economic development and job creation in Moldova by accelerating reforms and improving the country’s access to the EU Single Market, thereby bringing Moldova closer to joining the European Union.
