Prime Minister Vasile Tofan today attended the Annual Meeting of the Honorary Consuls of the Republic of Moldova. The Prime Minister spoke about the role of honorary consuls in promoting the country, attracting investment, and developing economic relations with the states where they operate, TRIBUNA reports.
The head of the Government praised the honorary consuls’ experience, contacts, and knowledge of local contexts, noting that these assets help them build connections with potential investors and partners of the Republic of Moldova.
“We are a small country, but we can be more agile, react faster, and find solutions tailored to each opportunity. If you identify an investor or a partner interested in the Republic of Moldova and there is an obstacle standing in their way, tell us. Give us the chance to find a solution and make things happen,” the Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan encouraged honorary consuls to exercise their mandate with initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to the strengthening of partnerships and the promotion of the Republic of Moldova abroad.
