The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian Federation’s designated ambassador to Chișinău and handed him a protest note after three drones violated the airspace of the Republic of Moldova in a single day. Two of them fell and exploded on the country’s territory. Over the past seven days, Moldova’s airspace has been violated eight times, TRIBUNA reports.

“The Republic of Moldova strongly condemns this serious violation of its sovereignty, which directly endangered the lives of its citizens.

It also condemns the Russian Federation’s war of aggression against Ukraine, which threatens the security of the entire region,” the Ministry said.
