The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the violation of the Republic of Moldova’s airspace by a drone, amid the massive attacks carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The drone fell and exploded in an unpopulated area outside the village of Hîrbovăț, Anenii Noi district, reports TRIBUNA.

“The incident constitutes a serious violation of the sovereignty and security of the Republic of Moldova and creates direct risks for our citizens.

Such incidents are unacceptable and reaffirm that the Russian Federation’s war of aggression against Ukraine is creating increasingly concrete risks for the Republic of Moldova and the security of the entire region,” the Ministry said.
