President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will make a working visit to the Republic of Finland on Friday, October 2, at the invitation of Finnish President Alexander Stubb, reports TRIBUNA.

In Helsinki, the two heads of state will discuss bilateral relations, European security, and Moldova’s EU accession process. The meeting will be followed by a joint press conference.

President Sandu and President Stubb will also open the Helsinki Security Forum 2026, organized by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs.

The visit’s agenda also includes meetings with Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Jussi Halla-aho. The President will also hold discussions with several Finnish parliamentarians and other officials who contribute to developing relations between the two countries.
