Regarding the situation on the Dniester River near the water intake station and ensuring the population’s water supply, the capital’s mayor, Ion Ceban, said that he has continuously held and continues to hold direct discussions with the Prime Minister, reports TRIBUNA.

“We communicated that it is necessary to obtain three more water pumps and strengthen our efforts by bringing in additional national and international experts, particularly from Romania,” he said.

The mayor said that, at this stage, the situation in the area of the station is normal.

“At the same time, we have implemented all alternative solutions, and currently the municipality is continuing to reinforce the dam built on the river.

The most important thing is that there is water,” Ion Ceban emphasized.
