Igor Dodon: Gas has already reached nearly 26 lei. Protests are inevitable

Igor Dodon, leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, said that “gas has already reached nearly 26 lei. With this approach by the ‘yellows,’ 35–40 lei per cubic meter is only a matter of time,” TRIBUNA reports.

“We need a long-term contract, but such a contract is not beneficial to those who, since 2022, have been purchasing gas on the exchange through intermediaries, causing hundreds of millions of dollars in losses to the state and citizens every year. Tofan merely tried to talk about this issue, inviting Makarov — and in recent days, all the ‘Soros supporters’ immediately descended on him.

In this situation, protests are inevitable. They should take place without party flags, at the end of October or beginning of November,” the Socialist leader added.
