Former Democratic Party MP Corneliu Dudnic has announced his intention to run for the position of Governor (Bashkan) of Gagauzia on November 15 this year. He is the first contender to request signature sheets for collecting signatures as an independent candidate, TRIBUNA reports.

“The Central Election Commission has officially registered the initiative group supporting him, and today, September 23, he became the first contender to receive the signature sheets for collecting signatures. He is running as an independent candidate,” a representative of the Central Electoral Council of Gagauzia told TRIBUNA.

We remind you that Corneliu Dudnic served as a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova from 2015 to 2019 as part of the faction of the Democratic Party of Moldova.
