Parliament will convene tomorrow in an extraordinary session to declare a state of emergency in the energy and water sectors, TRIBUNA reports.
“As President Maia Sandu announced, following the meeting of the National Security Council, we agreed with the Government and the responsible institutions on the need to declare a state of emergency in the energy and water sectors.
Therefore, tomorrow at 2:30 p.m., we will convene in an extraordinary session of Parliament. Our shared priority is to ensure that people have water, gas, heating, and electricity, and that state institutions work together to ensure people’s safety,” said Igor Grosu, President of Parliament.
