The European integration of the Republic of Moldova and the opportunities arising from closer ties with the European Union were discussed with citizens and young people in Ungheni as part of the “Europe at Your Home” event, organized by the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration, TRIBUNA reports.

The first session took place at the Ungheni District Council, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues related to Moldova’s European path with MPs Marcel Spatari, Ana Calinici, Eugeniu Sinchevici and Andrian Cheptonar.

The program continued at the “Vasile Alecsandri” High School with the interactive “Europe at Your Home” quiz, during which students tested their knowledge of the European Union, its values and institutions.

The event aimed to bring information about the European integration process closer to citizens and encourage young people to take part in the dialogue about the European future of the Republic of Moldova.
