Chisinau Mayor General and leader of the Alternative National Movement (MAN), Ion Ceban, said that authorities have yet to publicly address the issue of drones that fell near Colonița, as well as the recent rise in prices.

Ceban said he was asked about the drones and questioned why no public response had yet been provided by the country’s top officials on what he described as an important issue.

“Perhaps today, following the meeting of the National Security Council, they will at least provide an answer and a position both on the drones that fell just a few metres from Colonița and on the price increases,” Ceban said.

The mayor also criticized the ruling PAS party, claiming that its meetings focus on strategic planning rather than concrete solutions to issues affecting society.

“In fact, all the gatherings of those from PAS come down to the theme: ‘The extraordinary resilience of developing strategic plans for solving basic questions that concern certain pressing issues of society’ — in other words, about nothing. That’s how we live!” Ceban said.
